New Grandparent from Class of '72!

Postby Thespian1972 » Thu Jul 03, 2003 5:31 pm

:D

Hello Phil, our administrator and fellow Tigers!
Is there already a place to announce alumnis who have just become Grandparents?

On Wed., July 2, at 9:58 pm, my daughter Kristina and her husband Jin became first time parents, making me a first time grandmother.

It might be fun to see, from each graduating class, who is the first to become a grandparent! I'm from the class of 1972, so I wondered how many more grandparents there are out there.
Since I am only 48 years old, I may be the youngest.
Thank you, Phil and others who are making this website a success.

:) Dear Brad,

Thank you for your kind wishes. My daughter was born in 1976, so I may be the youngest among my class of '72 as far as GRAND parenting! Best wishes to you and your family.

I hope others out there from GHS will think about posting news of becoming parents or grandparents.

Best Wishes. Sorry it took me so long to reply. It's been very busy here visiting with the new grand-daughter and this is the first time I have even been able to check out our GHS forum/website.

Anyone else out there a parent or grand-parent, let us know!
Sincerely, Kathryn

Hi all! My name is Toni Klughart and I am a graduate from 1982. I am a step-grandparent of 6 kids and the seventh step-grandchild is due later this year. My husband has 4 adult sons and two of them have children. I was a grandmother, before I became a mother. And my son now 3 has nieces and nephews that are older than him:-)
Here I am, Lord!

Congratulations, Stephanie,

on being a grandparent. There's nothing better, is there?

Toni,

Congratulations to you too. It's very interesting, being a grandparent before being a parent!
Enjoy them all,
Sincerely,
